Esquire covers by George Lois

George Lois is an American Art Director, designer, advertising leader and author.

He is the pioneer of modern art directing. From 1962 to 1972, George Lois changed the face of magazine design with his ninety-two covers for Esquire magazine. (Esquire is a men’s magazine)

Esquire’s covers were always provoking the public with controversial issues on racism, feminism, politics and the War.

George Lois : The Esquire Covers at MOMA is out from Assouline this March.
