The John Lobb Autumn Winter 2015 collection created by new artistic director Paula Gerbase took place at the Old Sessions House last week in London.

Paula Gerbase graduated from London’s Central Saint Martins. In 2005, she trained in tailoring at Hardy Amies, and then worked as the head designer of Kilgour on Savile Row. In 2010, she started her own label called 1205 in London.

For this season, John Lobb’s delightful autumn winter 2015 collection helped by an amazing display, recreates the exceptional journey of founder Mr John Lobb from the countryside to the city of London.

In 1851, at just 22 years of age, a farmer’s son by the name of John Lobb left his hometown of rural Cornwall and walked to London; carried only by his handmade boots.

For this collection, Designer Paula Gerbase broke the rules of the regular British business footwear to inject a casual approach without compromising the craftsmanship of John Lobb.
