The young Parisian house specializing in ties “ Maison Barye ” unveils its Spring Summer 2016 collection named “Planten un Blomen” (Plants and Flowers’ in Low Saxon dialect spoken mainly in Northern Germany).

For this first collection, designers Sonia Caillou and Julien Lagarde offer a collection of high-quality neckties with a Spring floral inspiration. The French duo draw their own patterns, the silks are printed and manufactured in Como, Italy and the ties are manufactured in the last workshop of Paris dedicated to ties of quality.

If I wanted to draw a parallel of the Maison Barye with an artist, it would be the eminently singular painter, Henri Rousseau also known as “Le Douanier Rousseau” who has seduced Picasso and art lovers around the world. The self-taught French house reveals an original vision and has a great passion for craftsmanship.
